CLMV: An Intervention Study Using 'Sustainability Module' on Teachers' ESD Knowledge, Attitude and Practices in Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam : A Comparative Study

The CLMV program was a research grant funded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia to promote education in the CLMV countries which are Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. On April 2016, RCE Penang has been awarded with the research grant entitled ‘An Intervention Study using ‘Sustainability Module’ on Teachers’ ESD Knowledge, Attitude and Practices : A Comparative Study. The objectives of the research were to investigate Malaysian, Vietnamese and Cambodian teachers’ ESD knowledge, attitude and practices (KAP) and transfer knowledge as well as skills on project researchers and collaborators through the development of a professional development programme that uses the ‘sustainability module’ developed by the project and engages teachers to enhance their ESD KAP. RCE Penang worked in partnership with various collaborator such as Penang State Education Department, SEAMO-RECSAM, IPGK Ipoh, RCE Greater Phnom Penh and RCE Southern Vietnam.
